Collecting and Using Your Personal Data
Types of Data We May Collect
Personal Data
While using Our Service, We may ask You to provide Us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify You. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:
- Account information: name, email address, sign-in method, and account timestamps;
- Security and operational information: registration IP, session IP, User-Agent, language, and source parameters;
- OC data: user inputs, structured settings, generated results, image URLs, and edited content;
- Style reference images you choose to upload as a subscriber;
- AI task data: prompts, task status, provider task IDs, task results, and credit usage;
- Order data: orders, subscriptions, credits, payment status, and information returned by payment providers;
- Feedback data: feedback messages, the page and basic device details attached to a report, and an optional contact email supplied for reply delivery;
- Cookies and other necessary usage data.
Information from Third-Party Social Media Services
Depending on the sign-in methods currently enabled, You may create an account or sign in through third-party identity providers. If You use third-party sign-in, We may collect the name, email address, and necessary account identifiers associated with that account.
Tracking Technologies and Cookies
We use Cookies and browser storage to support necessary functions, maintain security, remember preferences, save in-progress drafts, and record certain usage information. These technologies may include authentication and security cookies, language and theme preferences, local storage, and the cookie-consent choice.
Cookies or Browser Cookies: A cookie is a small file placed on Your Device. You can instruct Your browser to refuse all Cookies or to indicate when a Cookie is being sent. However, if You do not accept Cookies, You may not be able to use some parts of Our Service.
Plausible provides aggregate basic statistics without cookies. In the EEA and its covered territories, UK, Gibraltar, Switzerland and unknown regions it stays off until you consent; in other identified regions it may run by default until you decline. Google Analytics, OpenPanel and optional Vercel Analytics require Analytics consent worldwide. Clarity heatmaps and session recordings require separate Experience diagnostics consent. Reject all turns off all these measurements. Advertising signals remain denied, and automatic AdSense script loading is disabled pending a separate advertising consent flow.
If you consent to Experience diagnostics and are signed in, we send Clarity a pseudonymous account identifier and a random session identifier. When you submit feedback, we may attach that session identifier to your feedback so support staff can locate the relevant recording. We do not send your email address or name as the Clarity identifier.
OpenPanel records page views and explicit product events only after Analytics consent, without account identification, link capture, attribute capture or session replay. These events do not include your email, prompts, filenames, media URLs or task IDs; page query strings, fragments, referrer paths and page titles are removed from its event context. Necessary task, payment and security records remain part of operating the service independently of these choices.
Your versioned choices are stored in a browser-readable Cookie for 180 days. Old, invalid or expired choices require a new selection. Use Privacy settings in the footer to choose Basic statistics, Analytics and Experience diagnostics separately. Turning off active measurement saves your choice, stops supported collection, clears accessible cookies for the revoked categories, and refreshes the page to unload third-party listeners; save unfinished work first. Previously sent data cannot be recalled. Blocking necessary storage may affect sign-in, preferences and drafts. Automatic Google One Tap is only prompted in identified regions outside the EEA and its covered territories, UK, Gibraltar and Switzerland; ordinary Google sign-in remains available through your own action in every region.
Text Prompts and Generated Content
Prompt Submission and Processing
When using our AI original character generation features, You submit text descriptions and prompts. Subscribers may also upload a style reference image for generation. Do not upload images of real people or use the Service to create deceptive content involving them.
Uploaded style reference images use a public URL so the generation provider can retrieve them. Anyone with that URL may be able to view the image. Do not upload confidential or sensitive images.
Data Handling
- Text prompts are processed to generate character designs through AI models
- Original prompts, structured settings, generated results, and task status may be stored in the Service to provide character saving, editing, exporting, and task processing;
- Prompts, style preferences, and generation parameters needed for a request may be sent to third-party AI providers;
- If you use a style reference image, it may be stored and shared with an AI provider to process your request;
- The retention period for character records may vary based on account type, Service configuration, and operational needs.
By using the Service, you confirm that your text prompts do not contain personal information of others without their consent.
Use of Your Personal Data
The Company may use Personal Data for the following purposes:
- To provide and maintain the Service: processing generation requests, saving character records, and providing editing and export functions;
- Account and security management: completing registration and sign-in, protecting accounts, preventing abuse, and troubleshooting;
- Payments and service notices: processing orders, subscriptions, credits, payments, refunds, and necessary account or service notices;
- Legal obligations: complying with applicable law, handling disputes, and enforcing relevant agreements and policies.
Retention of Your Personal Data
The Company will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use Your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.
Character records and related Personal Data will be retained for as long as needed to provide the Service, maintain security, handle billing and disputes, and comply with legal obligations. The specific retention period may vary based on account type, Service configuration, and operational needs. Files downloaded by You are no longer subject to the Service's storage practices.
Delete Your Personal Data
You may contact Us at support@occreatorai.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of relevant Personal Data. We will handle requests based on the circumstances; minimum records needed for billing, security, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or legal obligations may be retained. The Service does not currently guarantee a complete self-service workflow for deleting characters or accounts.
Security of Your Personal Data
The security of Your Personal Data is important to Us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect Your Personal Data, We cannot guarantee its absolute security.
You are responsible for ensuring the security of the credentials You use to access the Service.
Third-Party AI Processors
To provide our advanced AI-driven character generation services, we collaborate with various third-party AI model providers.
Third-Party Services
Depending on the features you use and the current Service configuration, relevant data may be processed by third-party AI, infrastructure, identity, email, or payment providers. We do not use prompts, generated results, or character data submitted to the Service to train AI models. Specific providers may change as the Service configuration and features change.
What We Share
For content generation, we share the information needed to process your request, such as text prompts, style preferences, generation parameters and, if you use one, a style reference image. Other providers receive the account or transaction information needed for their functions, as described above.
Data Minimization & Anonymization
We provide each provider only the information needed for its function and reduce direct identity information where technically feasible. Payment, identity, and email providers may process account or transaction information relevant to their functions.
Content Restrictions
To maintain a safe, ethical, and responsible platform, we have established the following content restrictions for users of our AI generation features. These restrictions apply to content submitted to or generated through the Service.
Accordingly, while our Service aims to exclude adult, violent, or sensitive content, the unpredictable nature of AI means it is intended for users aged 18 and older.
Prohibited Content
We prohibit the following types of content:
- Illegal Content: Any content that promotes, facilitates, or engages in illegal activities.
- Harmful Content: Content that incites hatred, violence, or discrimination based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or other protected characteristics.
- Explicit or Adult Content: Pornographic, excessively violent, or otherwise inappropriate content, including depictions of sexual abuse, child exploitation, or animal cruelty.
- Intellectual Property Infringement: Content that infringes upon the copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights of others.
- False or Misleading Content: Content that is intentionally false, misleading, or deceptive.
- Privacy Violations: Content that discloses personal information without consent or invades someone's privacy.
- Harassment and Bullying: Content that targets individuals or groups with the intent to harass, threaten, or bully.
- Impersonation: Content that impersonates individuals, organizations, or entities in a misleading or deceptive manner.
Additional Restrictions for AI-Generated Content
Since our platform utilizes AI to generate content, we have additional restrictions:
- No Real-Person Image Manipulation: Do not upload images of real people as style references or use prompts to create deceptive impersonation content involving real people.
- No Sensitive Data Input: You must not input sensitive personal data into our AI tools.
- No Harmful Outputs: You must not use our AI tools to generate content that is harmful or violates the above prohibitions.
- Commercial IP Authorization: If you generate characters referencing existing commercial intellectual properties (such as anime or game characters) for commercial use, you must obtain proper authorization from the copyright holder.
Enforcement
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these restrictions and to take appropriate action, including suspending or terminating accounts.
For our AI model disclosure, content rules, reporting channel, moderation workflow, and copyright process, please review our AI Content & Copyright Policy.
Opting Out of Information Use
We use Personal Data to provide, store, maintain, and securely operate the Service. You can manage some Cookies through your browser settings or contact us about your Personal Data.
- Browser Settings: You can configure your browser settings to refuse the use of cookies. Please note that doing so may affect the full functionality of our website.
- Account and data requests: You can contact us at support@occreatorai.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of relevant Personal Data.
